Doncha hate it when an unmanned ET spacecraft lands in your yard and you don't know how to convert the onboard audio archive into pictures. Here's a quick walk-thru.

I go to a pub quiz on Thursdays where they quiz us on both kinds of music; country and rap. Even if they asked whatever free streaming service they use for Jazz or Blues, it would never find Cassandra Wilson. That is as sad as this song.

I hate to be "that guy" but this is why sci-fi is "fi". And why SETI and CETI are "sci".

Physics says a spacecraft with mass can never reach the speed of light: as it accelerates closer to c, the energy required rises without limit, so light speed isn't merely difficult to reach — for mas...
Special relativity allows a massive spacecraft to approach light speed but makes the required energy diverge as velocity approaches c.

After my parents told me about the birds and the bees, I cleared a spot in the yard free of debris and tried in vain to inflate my throat pouch. Since then, I've also tried to avoid congregating with other drones since I know that only the queen will survive the gathering.

We visited this indoor forest display in Indiana but it was abandoned. We just walked in and roamed around until someone told us that it was closed. There had been a gift shop but it was cleaned out except for this one pitiful toy acorn. Just smiling for children who would never visit again.

I've read the phrase "Arbeit macht frei" twice today, in two different books, unrelated to WWII.

Plato is famous for describing how Democracy degenerates into tyranny. He also gave us the allegory of the cave - which is what we can count on the Democrats to do now.

Do you remember, "Vote for Trump. Biden's going to raise gas prices?" They wanted $2 gas. They went on and on about that shit. They're probably wondering why he doesn't just walk over to the dials in the oval office and set them to 2.00. Almost makes me wish I was still on speaking terms with them.

New shutdown. I was unimpressed with the last shutdown over some health insurance that I probably don't have. ICE was ramping up last fall, too. Dems didn't care. Finally, enough have died. Or have they? I wonder which 7 paragons of opposition will be selected to grovel before the Fuhrer this time.

All they needed was one. They got seven. Goin to their knees with the rest of the Reichstag so fast they got carpet burns. They didn't have to face down armed maniacs. They didn't have to risk disappearing into unmonitored prisons. All they had to do was vote. Wouldn't do it.

We're not a suffering people. We came here to get away from all that. No kings that had to keep us submissive. No national church to punish us for what we believed. This was ours. We would govern ourselves. It was never supposed to happen here. We forgot why we came here. And we forgot how to fight.
