Yes I understand. My memory unfortunately wouldn't be able to continue this even as a fan account though. I'd rather be done with it, especially given 80% of the followers are under that impression still. Sorry if thats a disappointing answer.

So I probably won't use this account anymore and leave it as is. Sorry for it to have been distasteful. I had heard someone say they would ask Issac at a VIP even about the account but I never heard back.

As I replied to a reddit post about it (I don't actually remember what I said). I was bored honestly, I have the handle modestmouse on another platform and thought it would be fun to have it on others. I have noted though that the people who do realize I'm not affiliated don't like the account.

I whole heartedly agree. I only heard that it was being forced upon them because someone keeps thinking if more bands use it, it will spike its popularity. Though I'm unsure of the exact reason. It wasn't told to me and I don't wish to confirm anything I'm not told to.
