clearly I should do it anyway, right? The road to improvement never ends, and it fluctuates all the time. I know it's something I want, but I also don't know what I want to draw currently. I think I need something new to get really, really hyperfixated about for a while.

This has probably always been the case, of course. But it's still nice to think that in the wake of genAI, many people are choosing to still create things on their own more than ever. So my hopes for a renaissance are very high.
