The degree to which PSAs make jokes out of victim-blaming away one of the country's worst public health crises is not great!
It’s finally getting warmer, which means more time to enjoy the outdoors, including walking. Whether you’re walking to school, work, a grocery store, to a bus stop, or just getting some exercise, staying safe while crossing roads is critical.

Sadly, a driver kills a pedestrian every 72 minutes in this country. So, it’s very important to stay alert while driving, stop for pedestrians at crosswalks, & don’t assume pedestrians only cross at crosswalks.
It's also very important to have a DOT that uses Safe Systems instead of Victim Blaming.
