The world gets so much smaller when you're trying to avoid places that use GenAI. Can't try anywhere new because they are riddled with it.

It kills me how much AI has just taken over the country store/homemade craft space. These used to be my favorite places but now I can't step an inch without smacking into an overly smooth highland cow or jesus looking like he's about to go super saiyan

Went to the super local craft fair. Maybe 15 tents total. At least 60-70% Were selling AI products/AI advertising, 10% was print slop. A baked goods stall tried to guilt me when I said their use of AI made me not want to buy from them. Soap stall was top down AI poster style labels

Every time I find an amazing artist from my state I get so giddy you guys don't even know. It can feel so lonely in the midwest but then I see some fantastic art randomly and find out through their merch sites that they are from here?!?! Best feeling ever.

My therapist fell asleep on me mid me crying about how this wave of censorship is scaring the fuck out of me and how I'm genuinely scared for my future as part of the LGBT+ community and a lover/occasional maker of adult content

Friends that live in USA, if you can take action to help ao3 please do so, the site is being targeted to be censored in the name of "protecting minors" when its an excuse to ban LGBT stuff.
Fanfics used to be banned in sites before places like ao3 and Fanfiction Net, this should not happen again
