Trying to watch GAA as a fan in the States is such a labor of love & frustration. Donegal is playing Cork in the All-Ireland round 2 qualifier and there are currently no plans for it to be streamed or broadcast anywhere. Absolutely gutted to not be able to watch the match on Saturday

It is beyond fucked that the NCAA continues to enforce its antiquated and profoundly inequitable ‘amateurism’ rules in D3, ensuring that the only people penalized are the absolute most deserving of assistance.
Hey @nkalamb.bsky.social I wanted to make sure I brought this to your attention: An acquaintance of mine who runs cross country and track for my alma mater, D3 Augsburg in Minneapolis, was banned from NCAA track in his senior season for accepting $6k in tuition help

y'all, this is wicked! My very first co-authored piece was published on the homepage of The Conversation today! 🥹 It would mean a lot if you took a couple of minutes to read it!

Tennis is set for a ‘Battle of the Sexes’ sequel – with no movement behind it
Billie Jean King’s 1973 match was about social change. The upcoming Sabalenka-Kyrgios event – with its rules tweaks and its participants’ questionable politics – may leave women’s tennis worse off.

Sometimes I'm really taken aback by the ways in which women's sports as slighted by major media & the NCAA. Scrolling through the channels and every single women's NCAA basketball game is locked behind a paywall while the men's games are not. SMH

My phone just auto corrected "trauma dumping" to "trauma dumpling," so I painted this in case anyone would like a visual of my mental state.

How's everyone else doing?

After 12 years on Twitter, with most of my activity being from the last 3 years, I've deactivated my account. There's no point in holding onto it since I was never really attached anyway, but it feels weird to not have it at my fingertips anymore
