It was & it didn't feel like it'd lasted too long.

Yeah, we are - it wasn't bad, few hiccups but nothing insurmountable.
Back to earth with a bump - a 04:30 alarm & trying to hit my face with cereal!

We had a great many showers as we left Cirencester and headed northward through the cotswolds and up past Coventry, Leicester, Newark & Lincoln. Fairly dry when we got home though.

We saw this fella/lass trying to remove some of the height of the field boundary last week.

I have, it needed a bit of sea washing but once I got the tears stopped it eased.

Been OK up to yesterday, mrs' guts had a bit of a panic attack and caused all sorts of problems & embarrassment for her - I calmed her down and we got everything sorted.

Where I work stays quite warm, there's some lads stay in shorts all year but I (as a person) run quite warm but can't manage year round!

Yep, until Saturday - it chucked it down most of the night & stopped about 7am with sun coming through the curtains by 8am.

Just thinking about getting up, lots of wind & rain overnight but it's bright sunshine now.
(so for me shorts are still in the frame - but they will be until November probably)
