It's the 23rd in Japan as of me posting so it counts. Happy 25th anniversary to Devil May Cry!! The game series that quite literally, saved my life, and has come to mean so much to me (Dante especially).

#mothchimeart | #devilmaycry | #dmc | #dmc1
An art piece of DMC1 Dante posed in a symmetrical manner with ebony and ivory raised in hand. He's standing before a stained glass window with floating candles on each side of him. The art piece is dark and heavy in reds.

Reference sheet comm for @sandtriangle.bsky.social of its FEH OC, Solemnity! I seriously had such a blast with this one as always, and it brings me so much joy to be trusted with OC refs. I will forever love making refs.

I've updated Ripley's website! Their personality and backstory pages have been overhauled/rewritten to reflect characterization changes, further development, and me wanting to go further in on general demon matters. So give a read if you want to see how they've changed!

Don't run away, it's only me.

#mothchimeart | #dmcoc | #devilmaycry
An art piece depicting my devil may cry OC, Ripley. An all-black, gothic demon taking on a human form with messy, wispy short hair. They're depicted with their arms crossed over their chest, eyes closed, standing before a gothic window. The piece is dimly-lit and has a couple plants framing the piece. The second half of the art piece depicting my devil may cry OC, Ripley. Here, they're in their true demon form (devil trigger form). Now, they are a skeleton-like knight with their wings draped around them, resembling a cloak, and horns peeking past their hood. Like before, they're depicted with their arms crossed over their chest, eyes closed, standing before a gothic window. This time, however, their empty sockets show their glowing iris. The piece is dimly-lit and has a couple plants framing the piece.

An interview, in exchange for one final earthly radio broadcast. That's the offer. But for Alastor to seal their deal, Vincent will have to prove himself first.

My piece done for @fe3horacledeck.bsky.social! It's always such a treat for me to be able to draw Hubert. Please check out the rest of the project, the art and writing in it is truly incredible!

#mothchimeart | #fe3h | #fireemblemthreehouses
A painted card of Hubert from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. Hubert's profile is facing the viewer. He has a subtle smirk with an index finger placed above his lips in a "shushing" motion. Two ravens are perched on him--one on each shoulder. Foxglove frames the card space behind him, with an embellishment of coffee plant berries and jimsonweed seed casings framing the title of his card below, which reads "The Undertaker."

Commission for @jesperjohansen.bsky.social! They're on a mission to spread their YIIK spores...

#mothchimeart | #commissionedart | #yiik
Artwork fearing Essentia 995 and Proto-Alex from YIIK. They are both dressed in gangster outfits, have crowns on their head, and are holding their respective guns. The duo are set before an abstract space-like background with colorful circles in a perspective grid, two pillars, and a bedroom door. Behind them is a red silhouette of their shared pose with stylized, cartoony drops of blood gushing from their decapitated necks. A closeup of the previous image.

Commission for @sandtriangle.bsky.social! Behold, toxic yaoi featuring its OC Kiran with Fafnir. This one was so insanely fun to work on😳

#mothchimeart | #commissionedart | #feh | #ocxcanon
A stylized art piece featuring Kiran, a FEH OC, with Fafnir, also from FEH. The pair are set before a stylized background featuring rusty pipes in place of trees, and dead plants circling the checkered ground they stand on. Kiran holds a knife while their top is folded down their arm, revealing a stylized stab wound. The look on their face suggests pleasure rather than pain. Fafnir extends a blood pool filled hand dramatically from behind while he has a crazed expression on his face.

Happy Valentine's day to the most gorgeous man in the world and some weird goth demon!!! About time I show my skinny freak properly swooning over Dante. There also appears to be some demonic ooze on that bouquet... don't ask Ripley where they got those roses.

#mothchimeart | #dmcoc | #ocxcanon
A stylized drawing featuring Dante paired with Ripley, a dmc oc. Ripley is on one knee, holding Dante's hand, with a bouquet in the other. Dante appears flattered and has his free hand pressed to his chest.

Ripley's new portrait is DONE!!! I'm obsessed with how this turned out, I keep getting better and better at digital painting. So happy that this OC remains the nearest and dearest to me. See replies to look at previous iterations of this

#dmcoc | #mothchimeart | #dmcart | #devilmaycry
A painted, semi-stylized portrait of Ripley, a dmc oc, inspired by the dmc5 headshot renders. They're a pale, tired-looking and goth psychopomp, aka a death demon in this context. They're set before a plain background that has embellished text that says "The Reaper" with "Ripley" written beneath it to mirror the same graphics used in the dmc5 artbook.

Commission for @subicoru.bsky.social featuring his OC, Lilith, with @astraladversary.bsky.social's Lucan! This one was sooo much fun. Ourple...
A stylized art commission featuring two OCs; Lilith and Lucan, set before a large, ornate, stained glass window. Lilith, a colorful demon with horns and wing-like sleeves, leans in close to Lucan, who is on his knees and supporting Lilith's waist. Lilith's hands are positioned around Lucan's face yearning, wanting way. The two tails of Lucan's coat are billowing behind him, while Lilith's hair braids are flowing out behind him, too. Both are gazing deep into each others' eyes. The stained glass illuminates both in purple light. The rest of the scene is dark, featuring a tiled floor, stylized rose bushes and thorns framing the piece, floating candles, with a curtain and beads framing the top portion of the art.

Happy Halloween from everyone's favorite big red cambion! This year's annual piece is based off some vintage halloween art (ref in replies!)

#mothchimeart | #devilmaycry | #dmc | #dmcart
A stylized art piece of Dante from Devil May Cry in his devil trigger form. His body is in full view and seen from the side, and he's holding a glowing jack-o-lantern. Dante is standing on a platform with two large, tall candles on either side of him. The smoke rising from them forms a framing element at the top. The skulls present on the Rebellion sword are featured as decorative elements. The art is heavy in warm, glowing tones, and has stars in the background. The art is heavily referenced off of a vintage piece of halloween art.

When a death demon joins your team so you're obligated hit 'em with one of these (but perfectly centered).

#dmcoc | #dmcart | #devilmaycry | #mothchimeart
Stylized art featuring Nero, Nico, and my DMC OC, Ripley. All three of them are in poses that Liz, Patty, and Death the Kid from Soul Eater make in their first introduction in the Soul Eater series. Nero is in the far back with his arms raised at an upwards angle, Nico is in the middle, slightly bent over, with her arms extended to the side. Ripley is crouching with their arms pointed at a downwards angle. The original screencap from Soul Eater featuring Liz, Patty, and Kid in the aforementioned pose.
