French guy learning art.
My goal is making smutty med/fan art with a focus on 3d.

For now on this account i will be documenting my art learning journey.
I've been mainly following the artifexian and madeline james worldbuild tutorials. I created the base land forms on Gplates and refined them on Blender drawing on a sphere to keep the projection correct. I also made the physio-graphic regions on Blender.

Hi everyone, coming back after a month. Today it's a worldbuilding update. Since last time i worked on a map for the setting in which i want to set most if not all of my stories. It's still a work in progress. I have defined the landmasses and physiographic features.

Over the last week i tried to apply the box mannequin over a few line of action exercises. I think it turned our fine but there's still improvements to be done.

Since last time i have looked to learn to make box mannequin. When i first tried to make the mannequin following a model i had issues with perspective.

I have kept making some @lineofaction.bsky.social exercises on a 2m setting. I did try and draw simple mannequins to capture the position of the model.

Today i did the line-of-action.com website tutorial. The goal was to train perspective. I think those exercises would be very interesting in digital with an infinite canva to not be bothered by space.

I was annoyed at not being able to make good circles and it was an issue for drawing the had in the first update. So i tried to draw a few circles to improve. It's not too great and would need more training.

I felt like the square mannequin wouldn't be the most convenient so i looked into making a different one. I'm way more satisfied with it and it seems easier to pose.

A first try at drawing a mannequin. I tried to respect the head proportions. The Left hand feels really big.

I first did the boxes in perspective exercise. I'm globally satisfied but it took way more time than expected to get it properly.
A lot of those feel rectangular rather than square.

This time instead of drawing a character i wanted to try and do a few drawing exercises. I wanted to train perspective and drawing character models.

On the second drawing i had a hard time reproducing the bump of the cheek without having it look weird so i did a small doodle with a head sideways to train.

That worked better but i think one of my issues is that the circle i make as guideline for the head isn't very round and it skews the result.

Then i wanted to make a full body one.

With harder perspective on that one i did a few doodles to train different angle of the head and boxes for the body.
I draw it bigger to make it easier and tried reproducing what i saw. But it was too big and didn't had space to draw the legs.

I first tried to replicate this frame from the show.

I choose a frame where her face is straight on to have something easier.

I'm pretty satisfied of the result. But the eyes are too big and the perspective of the torso isn't too great.

I draw everyday and will update at first every time i fill a page.
I rolled dices to pick a character to draw and got Nonon from Kill la Kill.

Hi everyone, I'm Eglaneau a beginner artist.

I want to learn both 2d and 3d and will be posting my progress here.

As quick recap of where i come from, i have very little experience in 2d. In 3d a few years ago i have made a few tutorial, unfinished characters and small physics simulation.
