I think it is just a sign of a healthy democratic process.

No issue to ‘get out the vote’ or with voter suppression, and the Electoral Commission is focused on making it easier and faster to vote - easily accessible voting booths, no hours in line, and you can have a ‘democracy sausage’!

People vote and the vote represents the will of all Australian Citizens of voting age - now, whether we like the will of the majority is a separate question!

I mean, I’m sure that would work for Republicans, as they have Gerrymandered State-level elections so much that they would become the American equivalent of the CCP!

Do Americans not look at other countries that have implemented universal healthcare (along with a living wage and more generous social safety net), where citizens are happier and healthier than in the US, and question the ideology behind these statements?
