Born and relinquished in California. (Adoption no longer defines me but it still affects me.) Raised in the NorthWest. Passionate nature lover. I'm against fake food, the overuse of plastic. I believe the U.S. is failing children in every way.

You are arguing to allow someone with male advantages to compete with women who have been discriminated against from the beginning of time? Are you a cis gendered woman who can comprehend that fact? I know trans women and they're built like men. Only an intersex would be the exception IMO

Steroids are not allowed in sports. A person who was biologically male has had testosterone in their system which gives them stronger muscles. There is a biological difference between males and females regardless of how a person feels mentally. It's science. That's all.

Of course. But they shouldn't have an unfair advantage in sports. We can't have everything we want.

What is really tragic is the insurance and pharma companies have been screwing us over for decades. They're responsible for the backlash and conspiracy theorists. Some honesty would sure be nice and might help right our sinking ship.

Women have been fighting for their rights, held back, held down, etc since the beginning of time. I do not believe in persecuting trans people. I understand it's not a choice. But they still have to use radical medical intervention to be the gender with which they identify. Be honest about that.

I'm quite liberal and supportive of transgender people. When it comes to trans athletes, I just don't think it's fair for someone who has had the benefits of testosterone for the majority of their life to compete against cis gendered girls. It's just science. Not persecution.

I despise Trump, and soda pop is unhealthy but cane sugar is better than high fructose corn syrup. I'm shocked.
