Yes. It’s part of the ALICE training and the response varies by grade. Older students (middle school and up) are trained to disrupt, and distract by throwing things.

On top of that, many of them will experience skyrocketing premiums on their health insurance which is really gonna suck when they accidentally shoot their nuts after sticking a gun in their waste and while wrestling a DoorDasher to the ground.
