Huge ups to Carolina for being the first time to both make the Stanley Cup Playoffs AND be able to spend a week golfing.

I write about people who became famous for saying and doing horrible things so I routinely get asked this question. "Did they really believe it?"

Look, I get the curiosity, but in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter what's in their hearts. They put evil into the world.
What's in Tucker Carlson's heart? Racism. What's in Anne Coulter's heart? Racism. What's in Ben Shapiro's heart? Racism (and sadness about his inability to please a woman).

Every year, hundreds of people walk silently through the streets of Minneapolis… looking at the windows of the houses.

It's the Wedge Cat Tour: the residents put the cats in the window and the crowd stops to admire them.
Yes. This exists. 😹

The U.S. Hockey Men Spoil The Fantasy | Defector
To be a U.S. Olympian is to represent the best that your country has to offer. That sounds extremely lofty when it’s written out like that, but I think that’s really how it works, ideally, if you’re t...

So I kind of figured it’d be amazing to watch but man this really is different. She’s so relaxed. She’s visibly having so much fun. She’s not fighting for a medal here. She’s just playing her favorite game
I urge you to stop what you're doing and watch Alysa Liu's free skate from yesterday. I have never seen anything like this. I understand why sports writers are born now. I have never seen anyone as free from the burdens of this world as this pierced Oakland girl spinning to Donna Summers.

I do not think the most significant cultural shifts will come from a World War, Class War, Race War, or whatever other battle people weirdly fantasize about. I think it’ll be an integration of the idea that children are people and not the property of their parents.
