“I think what they’re really concerned about is that left politics *will* resonate — and you’ll have progressives and democratic socialists in office demanding that the Democratic Party leadership actually do something.”
The Democrats’ “Woke” Panic and the Left’s Response
The victory of left-wing candidates in Democratic primary elections shows that voters want a different path. But party leaders don’t.

Yeap that sounds exactly like Obama 🙄
Q: What do you say to those who feel you're using your executive power to go after opponents?

TRUMP: If you look at Obama, what he did was far worse ... if there was a leak, he'd say 'you have 15 minutes and if you don't give it up, you're going to jail.' I haven't done that -- yet

I know Rahm Emanuel. I worked with him for years in the Clinton administration, and then when he was Obama’s chief of staff.

Rahm Emanuel represents everything that’s been wrong about the Democratic Party for the last 30+ years.

Be warned. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-rahm-bomb

1. I need a favor.

I’m working on a new project and, to test it, I need photos of political mail. If you have any political mail lying around your house, please take a photo of the front and back and send the photos to [email protected].

This is a direct result of everyone with Real Change, Share the Cities & Transit Riders Union highlighting this priority for many years. We appreciate the Wilson Administration focusing on this. Several previous Mayors actively ignored this topic - remember that.
Katie Wilson announces a $1.4 million earmark in her proposed 2027 budget for 12 new public restrooms, including 10 additional modular facilities and 2 new restrooms in city parks.

Washington folks, don’t sleep on WSDOT’s e-bike rebate program.

My husband recently had his e-bike stolen outside the UW gym. He applied to the rebate program and was selected. It’s a lottery but almost 20% of those who apply get it.

Rebate amount varies by income, from $300 to $1,200.

And that….is how I live my life
In my experience, if I’m trying something on and think “this would look so good on Tilda Swinton” I know it’s not for me.

Same for Seattle and WA. Let them leave. Who cares!
The richest assholes in California are screaming at the top of the lungs to vote no on the “billionaire” tax this fall.

Of course they are.

IDGAF if they leave the state. They are some of the weirdest folks alive today.

Don’t let their fear mongering scare you. Jobs won’t leave. Just them.

a Sunday reminder for Washingtonians out there

Washington is the only state where a MAJORITY of the state Supreme Court is on the ballot, all at once

a very rare situation

no party label on the ballot but candidates are still aligned with parties! important to learn: boltsmag.org/your-state-b...

Two Black mayors took cities that the country loves to write off and made them measurably safer. That’s not a fluke. That’s a blueprint.

Chicago and Baltimore just posted numbers that should be front-page news. They’re not. We need to talk about why.

The Fauci hearing perfectly illustrated how living through a once in a century pandemic somehow made Republicans far worse on public health. God forbid we face anything like covid again during Trump 2.0. There will be no Dr Fauci around to try to talk sense to Trump.
