The UK government spent £37 billion on Test and Trace. Its own assessments concluded it did not deliver what it was designed to do. No meaningful accountability followed for those who oversaw it. Worth remembering next time you're told there's no money for something else.

And if we’re not straightforward and honest with our financial affairs, we’re extremely likely to get found out and sanctioned. Why TF would someone who has his sights on the highest public office in the land - not be subjected to the same - or, ideally - a higher level of scrutiny?
