I don't wanna waste my time arguing with someone defending a corporation. If those were freelance/indie developers - it's a different story, in this case devs represent/work for a multi billion dollar corp.

For the gating of single-player content behind a "premium" version - no. As long as the only thing about customers that T2 sees is bank accounts - the company deserves it.
If the devs don't like it - they have options.
If it was art that was displayed in a museum - it'd be a different conversation.

I'll never believe what russian officials say, but even if it happened - it's a consequence of what russia does in Ukraine.
