A desert at the bottom of that abyss? It was fairly similar to a place the horned man knew personally. An area of the Stone Tower hidden in a portal one had to find the correct switches to activate.
Strangely, an unknown force stopped him from landing in the sand. There was no need for that.--

That didn't stop this strange horned man. He jumped down the hole as well. Curiosity had gotten the better of him.

As the tall man with horns would continue to follow the armored man down the tunnel; he would be able to spot the man standing at an edge of what looked to be a large deep hole leading to the abyss.
Without warning he also see the armored man lean forward and head right into it.
