Looks like our robot overloads will do better than humans. In British Columbia, watching how it all turns out. Elbows Up.

The Wetland Project has been my favorite alternate-reality radio experience since it began. Since it only happens once a year, you can’t become accustomed to it. Close your eyes and be washed over by the sonic reality of an isolated bog on Saturna Island!

Disappointed to see this. 160 union workers are fighting for a fair contract at Individualized Shirts, a US factory that makes high-end men's button-ups. The managers there have rejected the union's request for fair wages and health insurance. The union is asking for support 🧵

Do you know BC has 40,000 ISLANDS?

Yes. 40,000. 4,000 x 10.

It’s a lot of islands.

Do you know what the turning radius of an oil tanker is in calm seas? Now how about 130km winds?

And in our channels we have massive variances in depths.

We will not ever be OK with oil tankers on our coast.

Sometimes you just need to escape for a little while. Short stories are great for that.
Visitors welcome. Subscriptions are good too.

This oddly happens a lot to artists too. I guess we're not allowed to have degrees or other areas of interest or study lol. It's such a weird mindset to pin on any creative. Our lives and interests influence our work, and also, as adults we still read and know things? Like it's all weird to me.
My fellow men (and sadly, yes, it's mostly men who do this), don't do this.

A long time ago, I wrote a PhD thesis about the differences between citizens and economic partners. When things go well, this difference doesn’t matter so much, and people may even forget about it. But it’s time to remember.
