I’m a full time instrumental music teacher in NJ. Also a wife, book worm, cat mom, coffee and true crime addict, who also loves traveling and being where the palm trees are.
I haven’t posted here in a long time but I feel like this is my only safe place. Anyone else scared out of their mind that if they post anywhere else on their social media accounts they’re going to get fired?!??!!!

Thank you, #NetGalley and #StormPublishing for allowing me to read #WhatTheSilentSay by #EmersonFord It’s a WWII novel but in the POV of American soldiers. A war story that captures loves and resilience in worlds oceans apart. It’s beautifully written. I highly recommend! #BookSky #ARC

I never had TikTok. I also never downloaded or bought anything from SHEIN or Temu. To ban TikTok and claim it’s about data is bullshit. Meta has access to everything data… but that’s controlled by a billionaire. SHEIN and Temu are also Chinese. But politicians only care about TikTok. Go figure.

Want to know what’s not happening today? Liberals storming the Capitol, even though the guy who won is a felon. A rapist. A liar. A cheat. A racist. A cult leader. But liberals know the difference between right and wrong… and storming the Capitol is wrong. #InsurrectionRemembranceDay

I love living in a country where the present elect thinks that Justin Trudeau is the governor of the great state of Canada. When’s that Star gonna be added to our all mighty flag?

Facebook removed my post of a link directly from the NJ SCHOOL BOARD ASSOCIATION regarding a DEI conference because they thought it was spam. Wow.

Goodreads is owned by Jeff Bezos. A better alternative is StoryGraph, a Black woman-owned platform. And before y’all start, you can transfer all your Goodreads data to Storygraph so you literally have no excuse.

Thank you, #NJEA for caring about your members and wanting to protect us from Project 2025. So many NJ #teachers are petrified about our future. It’s nice to work in a blue state that wants to do the work to protect us and our students! #UnionStrong #Education #NJEducation #Departmentofeducation

Hi all! New kid on the block here! About me: full time elementary band/orchestra director, book worm, cat mom, wife, coffee addict. Trying to ween off Facebook as it’s so toxic but I found my group among music teachers, travel addicts, and book lovers there. Hoping to find my people here!
