Pompey were riddled with injury, we had pretty much everyone available and we took the lead... I'll take the point but can't sugar coat it, we should have won. If Armstrong puts his chances away in the 1st half its probably different story #SaintsFC

Got to say I thought I was watching a Russell Martin team on Boxing Day. What is Eckert trying to do? Playing out sideways doesn’t work, the fans hate it and it is unproductive. Feeling particularly low this evening. I need my football team to lift me but Friday they just depressed me. #saintsfc

What do you even say after that? Dreadful result, again. Still unlucky with injuries and illness but in-game decisions were baffling. Part of me wants to give him time, but I fear he's lost the majority of fans and, in that case, the writing is on the wall. The question is, who/what next? #SaintsFC

A line-up straight out of a tombola but I think we need an open mind today. None of us know what the best line-up is. I've agreed with every line-up this season and we've been pretty rubbish, add to that Stewart's injury news, I'm happy to try something a bit different #SaintsFC

Im not a reactionary fan, not calling for anyone's head or anything silly, I get that it all takes time, but its still disappointing & frustrating not to see greener shoots of recovery going into a run of winnable games where we could really build a head of steam. Now 2wks to stew over it #SaintsFC

Much better. Missed 2 sitters in the 1st half which cost us. Took the lead in a period where Boro were starting to get a foothold and felt Downes was needed just to wrestle back momentum in the middle, nobody would have moaned if we'd shut up shop for the last 30mins and won 1-0. Onwards #SaintsFC
