So... this actually turned out to be a pretty fun coding challenge xD
Oh no, my Pokémon knowledge is faltering! Do I
- Accept that interests changed and continue to enjoy the games casually?
- Build a personal knowledge base web app to catalog the tricky, sometimes game-by-game different data to then turn it into Anki Decks to structurally relearn it?

I've decided to migrate my account, let's see if that was the right/necessary decision 🤷

the nsfw art trend of the week being a genderbend harry potter character that people are referring to with a portmanteau of the characters name and a misogynistic slur is ridiculously on the nose. it feels like some outlandish parody where someone tried to think of the most soulless thing possible

While Millennials and Gen Z blame each other for ruining society, the same monsters that have been ruining society since before we were all born are laughing their asses off.
Generational divides are made up, and that’s fine until they’re weaponized to keep us fighting over complete bullshit.

Maybe I’m going on my high-horse a bit, but I’ve always had a quiet disdain for irony-pilled humour. While a detached mindset can be funny in moderation, I think the world needs more sincerity and genuine care, rather than less of it.
Call me a fuckin’ Boy Scout, but eh. I literally was one.

On this day in 1998, 28 years ago, Pokémon Red & Blue were first released in the US
These games were adaptations of Pokémon Red & Green based on the Pokémon Blue engine and brought the franchise to the west!

I understand that when people say this website might as well be Twitter there’s nuance to that statement and their frustrations with Bluesky are 100% justified
But when I see the way this userbase reacts to abuse victims coming forward vs the way Twitter does?
It’s night and fuckin day.

In this period of time filled with AI stupidity, let's celebrate those we are not celebrating enough:
Art supporters, Art commissioners
THANK YOU!
Thanks to YOU, many artists can do what they do the best and keep being productive but most importantly

Hey [game series that hasn't gotten something new in a while], why not play [game that plays similarly but doesn't have the same world, characters, soundtrack that people love the former for] instead?

"I never liked their stuff in the first place" when said of people outed as shitheads, is self-soothing.
What the person is actually saying is "therefore the stuff I like must be made by good people"
It's them, comforting themselves that their faves are not also monsters.
