I've made a new home assistant card for myself to render lightning strikes on a map and how far they are from my house. Also gives direction and if they will pass within 25km of the house. #homeautomation

Appendix is out. Had to wait 24h before they had a free operating room. Longest 24h in my life. But now already discharged and home. At the moment not in too much pain and can walk around so let's hope on speedy recovery.

Planned a 15 day trip to south Spain, ends up in hospital with accute appendicitis 4 days before leaving. I guess I'm not going anywhere but the operating theater.😟

Just went camping for a night. It's still near freezing, so was a bit cold, but I liked being out in nature. I do hope the party next to me had the worst night ever. When I broke up camp, they were still 😴 but their part of the campsite was full of garbage. Clean that shit up when you go to bed

That halftime show gave me hope you guys in the US will eventually get it together and unite for a better future with kindness, equality and no hate towards others...it also made me shake my ass and dance. That almost never happens.

2026, international laws still don't seem to matter. Capturing another head of state when you have not even declared war on them. This needs to have consequences. I don't like Maduro and what he has done to Venezuela, but this is not OK. The only good thing is, it might lead to regime change.

I suddenly have a cat in the garden. It's always on the same spot in the sun. Don't know anything about cat keeping. Should I go around the neighborhood to ask who's it is or just leave it alone until it goes back to its owner?

Today at work: construction 🚧 works with constant drilling, making the building shake underneath my feet and 2 fire alarms... It just made me leave early. Now, I have a beer to forget the day.
