The news of Michael Kiwanuka’s stroke is really upsetting but sensitively handled in this interview. He’s a great artist and a lovely human being and his new album is terrific. I hope he gets to record and perform again

Magnificent trolling in Brum
This artwork was created over the past year by a local Birmingham artist collective who wanted to bring unty from discord by repurposing the divisive Nationalist flags into a massive Brummie Reunion Jack.

Suffice it to say, the inspiration for Goldship's magnificent work has not taken it well.

It's easy to forget that Tony Blair had been in power since 1694 when the Bank of England was founded. Good job Brain of Britain Liz Truss is here to remind us.

Don't confuse "wealth" with "super-wealth". The wealthy already pay their fair share because their wealth generally comes from earnings. But the super-wealthy pay nothing because they earn very little on paper. They instead make money with their money — which isn't taxed because we only tax earnings

Crypto billionaires don’t become crypto billionaires by being generous or altruistic. They become crypto billionaires by being greedy, selfish, amoral, dishonest, untrustworthy shites.

They don’t give away money for the common good.

Is that who should control our politics?

What I love about Western democracy is you can bung a political party £ 36 million earned from criminal activity & most media will continue to point at asylum seekers & migrant care workers with families as the barbarians at the gate we need to defend ourselves from 🙄.
