Trump's nominee to run the CFPB, Brian Johnson, is a former Capitol One executive who previously consulted for payday lenders and credit reporting agencies

Now he could lead the very agency meant to rein those predatory companies in.

The fox is in the henhouse.

WARREN: Do you still work for Capital One today?

JOHNSON: I do. I'm here today in my personal capacity

W: Ok. But they're paying you to get confirmed for this job. I also understand they're letting you keep a bonus you haven't yet earned. They must be really excited about getting you confirmed.

ICE is still gunning people down in our streets. It is a moral tragedy that this has become commonplace in our country.

Do not let anyone convince you that it has to be this way. This is a choice.

At least 10 Trump officials hold as much as $43.8M in stock in Elon Musk's SpaceX or in xAI.

That means the SpaceX IPO — which will make Musk a trillionaire — would also directly enrich Trump's lackeys.

SpaceX has been boosted by over $10B in government contracts since 2025.

See the problem here?

The Senate votes this afternoon on Trump's budget — including amendments on his $1.8B slush fund and IRS "settlement."

Call your Senators and tell them: reject Trump's slush fund AND his family's immunity deal with the IRS.

Despite the fact that I serve on the Oversight Committee, Oversight Republicans refused to let me speak during their sham hearing on Medicaid in Ohio. Why? They knew I would call out their political theater. Here's what happened and why it matters:

Can you be more out of touch? This administration has literally made everything more expensive with tariffs and war. Yet they have the audacity to turn around and tell you everything is great.

Soon after the 2024 election, I wrote that it was difficult to envision a less suited intelligence chief than Putin stooge Gabbard; and Gabbard proved to be every bit as bad as expected. But Trump has moved on to a new level of corruption with Pulte, a virtual avatar of corrupt governance.
Tulsi Gabbard and Trump's scheme to gut the intel agencies
It's hard to envision a less suited intelligence chief. That’s a feature, not a bug.

I fear L.A is about to fail the same open book test America did in the 2024 election. Spencer Pratt is a moron, but Democrats again seem to not understand that as much as they might not like it, selling vibes over policy actually works.

Today, I offered an amendment that would have shut this scam down.

My amendment would've prevented self-dealing by public officials — including the President & members of Congress — who own or promote digital asset companies, including crypto.

Every Republican voted against it.
Trump's corruption has been well documented, but perhaps one of his most outrageous — and lucrative — schemes has been his personal meme coin.

Since its launch, Trump has made over $200 MILLION from it while those everyday Americans who have invested have lost BILLIONS.

People below Medicare age may not know this. But:

THEY DON'T USUALLY GIVE PEOPLE THESE TESTS.

They're screening tools, if the MD/NP thinks there is something to check.
Trump: "I took three cognitive tests. Aced all of them, by the way. I'm the only president to take a cognitive test. I don't think Obama could pass it. The first question is very easy -- it's a lion, a giraffe, a bear, and a shark. They say, 'Which one is the bear?'"

Once again, Trump is threatening war crimes against the Iranian people.

All this could be avoided if Republicans in Congress joined us in voting to end this illegal and costly war.

We will give them another chance this week. They must all be held accountable.
