The hypothesis woo mushroom hippies have that psychedelic mushrooms evolved to make mammals stoned kinda seems to conflict with the fact that some mushrooms just turn off your ability to process alcohols or aldehydes or otherwise generally turn shit on or off in your body that will fuck you up.
