Thanks for this. I find the students just don’t get enough tough, gritty stuff in yr 1 and this might be just the way to do it. Stats yr 1 is so boring for them too and only gets interesting much later on.

This is very interesting indeed and I see the benefits of doing all of Diff in year 1 Do you have the time to do it all though? What do you leave out?
