Born during the pandemic as an elegy of communal loss, Najeeba Syeed's "Dreaming Lost Bodies Back" expands to embrace losses of war and hunger across our globe. Poetry that names grief honestly while honoring how ancestral lineages bear fruit of hope and resilience.

#dreaminglostbodiesback my new book of #poetry made it to New Mexico and helped me open a day long session today for faith leaders of many traditions from around the country gathered in retreat. I read poems and shared them as a healing practice. Poetry after all is a spiritual practice #interfaith

Dreaming Lost Bodies my new book of poetry helped me close my training this weekend with a poem on a slow burn instead of burn out was a great way to close for higher ed professionals from around the country.

Why reading still matters. Having edited a whole book on interreligious empathy, a reminder to me as well that fiction also plays a role in addition to religious literacy through traditional means of religious texts, analysis and scripture.
