I dunno if people have seen the news about the ants that keep cloned males from a different species around as sexual slaves but all I have to say is, once again nature is better than fiction. Omegaverse is tame in comparison.

One of my comfort foods is a Japanese mapo tofu recipe that gets all of its heat from a single red chilli, deseeded and sliced. When I was into c-ent i legit had nightmares about someone finding out and cancelling me for the cultural insensitivity of it all.

Invented a new drinking game at breakfast, which I'm calling "garlic roulette". Take turns grabbing from a container with a mix of chunky garlic cloves chopped in two and macadamia nuts, and eat whatever you grab. God speed.
You can't convince me ZZS and WKX wouldn't troll each other like this.

I don't think Katie Daysh is on this site which is probably good because I raced through A Merciful Sea and this way I can't embarrass myself publicly by declaring how much this book speaks to every tiny bit of my id somewhere the author can easily see.

I just finished watching Adolescence, and while everyone raves about ep3, it's ep4 that absolutely crushed my soul. What an excellent show.

Sometimes you buy amazing tomatoes at the market and then you're feeling like you've reached vegetable (don't @ me) nirvana and then you go back the next week and there's only mediocre generic tomatoes on offer again and it's frankly DEVASTATING.

Anyhow, in less polarising news, I have realised that I can listen to BBC radio *and* have it scrobble to my last.fm account so I am stoked about all of these late night classical music shows that are suddenly within my reach.
