Went back to the second SRW game I completed and it was fun. Def the weakest of VXT by a notable margin now that I'm more experienced with the series, but I still had a fun time going back in. Gurren Lagann is always a treat and Amari is oomfie.

In my first playthrough two years ago, I was intending to weaken the final boss with a Giga Drill Break so Amari could finish, but accidentally ended up critting and killing the boss

Now the Giga Drill finisher is deliberate

Say what you will about X but this right here is still one of the best circumventions of a canon death in SRW. Nia and Simon finally get past the hurdle of the infamous "death at the wedding" scene in the original TTGL and are on track for a true happy ending

Missed opportunity to not have this voiced but this is still one of the fucking hypest moments in the show and I'm glad it was retained
