Sex worker gun clubs are popping up across the country as a form of self-defense and community protection in the face of ICE. @kimkelly.bsky.social reports for Playboy:

John Maynard Keynes once said, 'Practical men, who believe themselves to be quite exempt from any intellectual influence, are usually the slaves of some defunct economist. Madmen in authority, who hear voices in the air, are distilling their frenzy from some academic scribbler of a few years back.'

Heard an exhausted old Mexican lady mention that she likes yams, and that a few weeks ago someone served yams that were perfectly seasoned and delicious. She didn't know that I'd cooked the yams.

Now any time I feel worthless I can make yams and feel better about myself.

We have an incredible problem: too many donations for our mutual aid hub and not enough shelves!

We’ve outgrown our current setup, and we need to adapt to keep up with need, especially as we help candidates across the country adopt this model.

We often say fuck the algorithm, but @sesmith.lol went long on how sex workers actually deal with income-stopping algorithms every single day:

"This is not algorithmic softening. It is algorithmic violence."

Everybody needs to stop talking shit about felons. Villifying felons is exactly as racist as the US justice system. There are 20 million convicted felons. Hiring felons who are not donald trump is awesome actually.

Just call trump a fascist pedophile rapist silly poopoo diaper baby etc

Leftists: we've been trying to organize a general strike for decades. We need just the right messaging, a ton of precise logistics, a wild amount of work, and an overall cultural shift in mainstream attitudes...

Right: oops we broke shipping. Do people need gas to get to work?

Dems: we stand against A, B, and C

GOP: that's wild we'd never do those (*does all of them immediately*)

Dems: if you agree to try to stop B (pinky swear) then we'll vote to sponsor A and C

If I thought a car was about to hit me, the driver dying suddenly would clearly not improve my situation at all. That wouldn't stop the car? It is such a nonsensical story right on the surface, even if we hadn't all watched the footage.

I want to hear less "if we can hold out until his term is over, we'll be ok" and more "the end of his term is the best chance we'll have to unseat him, so let's make plans for that now".
The plans will have to involve more than just getting more votes.

Tourists love watching the Hopes and Dreams play, looking like unicorns. Magestic. Vapid.
#Regrets like me are grubby, stabby little shits mostly, but you need us. Raise us up right and we prey on bad decisions. Fewer new regrets.
Ignore us and we multiply. We get hungry.
Run. We're faster.

I made a painful #memory, so I took it to the memory prison to lock it up. I found a child weeping there, quiet and malnourished. I freed her and she clung to me. She was in pain, and I had forgotten pain, so I opened another cell to remember. By the time I raised her the prison was empty.
