Im not a morning person (unless you count being up until 2-3am every night) but Waiting Mode makes me impatient and either really angry (for no reason) or bouncing off the walls like a giddy fool. There's no in-between

I get it. Of something is early, I worry about oversleeping. If it's later, Im worried I might not want to go out by then or spend the day obsessing about it and cant do anything prior to the event. (Im even like that about doc visits)

My spiral is that I will be late and not set up in time or wake up AFTER the event starts and either way the organizer will never want to work with me again. Then Im screwed bc events are how I earn a meager pittance. It's not enough to survive on but it's enough for groceries and gas.

I have the same problem. My brain lies and tells me that if I go to sleep, I'll oversleep. Then once Im asleep, I constantly wake up thinking I really *had* overslept, but don't need to be awake for hours. Rinse & repeat.
