AT Rey Dau was great fun! My first run had me locked in a tense battle of precise footwork for 14 minutes.
Hunted Rey a few times after that with friends and we got our time down to this! Hopefully this will be enough for us to succeed in the free challenge quest next week 🫣

Honestly think the world iteration of the switch axe is a bit too spammy, fortunately I like the direction it's going in for wilds so I'll be sure to enjoy that in 2 months time

Did some SOS flares to learn Swaxe a bit before taking down Alatreon. Sidesteps are pretty darn amazing combined with evade window.

Have now bested it with insect glaive, sword and shield, and now dual blades!
Pretty happy considering I only properly picked em up less than a week ago.

Can't wait for February to play monster hunter wilds... Going to be playing Swaxe once again and finally properly learning the lance.

Decided to get some Fatalis and Alatreon solo's while waiting for wilds, used a nice Frostcraft SnS build this time. Insect glaive is still easier but SnS is just way more fun.

A volcanic Goss Harag variant that could cool lava into obsidian weapons or a desert Goss Harag that could use electricity to make glass weapons would be really cool, I'd imagine they'd inflict bleed aswell.

Super duper hoping that Goss Harag returns in wilds, the wound mechanic would go great with his ice weapon abilities. Also mostly because it's my favourite fanged beast and one of my favourite fights in rise :^)

Hoping that Yian garuga will make an appearance in wilds, could be cool to have a quest where it gets misidentified as a yian kut-ku to give hunters a right scare when they eventually do find it.

Honestly it'd be cool if Monoblos was in monster hunter wilds, but for your first encounter you could only find it while out on a solo expedition and would need to beat it to get the optional quest.
