A lot of people say "How do you know if you like something unless you've seen it. This isn't something I brag about, but I know what I'll enjoy a lot of the time. You don't need to eat a ghost pepper to know that'd be a terrible experience & you'll hate ever moment of it. You can just tell.

Sometimes I have to force myself to watch a movie or a show just so I know what the hell people are talking about. You know, so I don't become a social pariah. Then at the end of it I'm like "Well that fucking sucked". There wasn't a point to this post, I just wanted to help ground my beliefs.

I remember my father telling me how anti trust laws worked as a kid. Something like "Well son, we have laws where one electric company can't just buy all the OTHER electric companies. Then they could just charge whatever they want because there'd be no competition." We were a very optimistic people.
