Anyway, so I wrote a story about a woman from Afghanistan flying with her family to escape from the violence of the terrorists in the area, wanting to come to the USA so she could be free from all of that, only for the plane to be hijacked mid flight as soon as they got close to US soil.

Not knowing at the time that the flight was from Boston to Los Angeles, I assumed it was a plane that came from Afghanistan because the news immediately was accusing Osama Bin Laden and Al Quaeda of being behind it, so I assumed it was a plane from Afghanistan. I was 12. Forgive me.

Please acknowledge my weasel words because this is absolutely not ALWAYS true, such as the recentish Switch Zelda game is actually pretty easy. Compare the two Hades, the two Hollow Knights, The Last of Us, Dishonored. It certainly helps these are all sequels, but it's still a funny pattern.

It's also a little funny when you compare games in the same *series* that have a game where you have a male protagonist and a game with a female protagonist. The girl one is almost always more difficult. Conversely, when given a choice in the same game, girl route is usually easier.

Games for boys are more likely to want you to feel powerful and games for girls are more likely to want you to be precise, evasive, clever, or resilient.

Comparing genres that are more likely to star boys, you get a huge variety, and genres more likely to star girls you get bullet hell shooters.
