Rethinking the helmet for the city. Newton-Rider's N1neo is the world's first semi-soft, flexible helmet with Linear Response Protection — serious safety in a profile that actually fits urban life.

The bicycle helmet hasn't changed in 40 years.
Same shell. Same foam. Same bulk.
N1neo fixes that — world's first semi-soft, flexible helmet with Linear Response Protection. Serious safety. Sleek urban profile.
This is what commuting deserves. 🚲

The post-EPS debate is not about rejecting the past.
It is about refusing to let the past define what protection can become.

The urban rider is not always chasing speed.

They are going to work.
Crossing town.
Living their day.

The helmet should be designed for that reality.

Many people believe in helmets.
They just do not want to wear the ones available to them.
That is not only a communication problem.
It is a product challenge.

At Newton-Rider, this is the question we started with:
What if the next helmet category is not built around hard EPS logic?
What if it responds differently?
That is the work.

Not every crash is extreme.

Some are awkward.
Unexpected.
Low-speed.
Urban.
Human.

Design should take that seriously.

Certification matters.
But passing a test should not become the end of ambition.
What should a helmet be capable of becoming?
May 21, 2026 at 6:41 AM
Real helmet innovation does not only live on the surface.
It lives in the way the helmet manages energy.
That is the deeper question.

This is not anti-EPS.
EPS helped build the helmet category.
But no material should define the future forever.
Ask better questions.

If the brain is not rigid, why is the helmet?
Maybe protection is not only about resisting impact.
Maybe it is about responding to it.
May 18, 2026 at 6:39 AM
The bicycle has become everyday transport.
So why do so many helmets still speak the language of sport?
May 15, 2026 at 6:25 AM
People do not reject safety.
They reject products that do not fit their life.
That is not a styling issue.
It is a safety issue.

“I look stupid in a helmet.”
Maybe that is not vanity.
Maybe it is feedback.
May 13, 2026 at 6:37 AM
A helmet only protects when it is chosen.
The future of helmet safety starts before impact.
Let’s make helmets easier to choose.

Unlearn.
For decades, bicycle helmets have been built around the demands of the material.
That requirement shaped everything: the thickness, the rigidity, the volume — and the familiar single-impact architecture ...

THE QUIET CALCULATION

...and yet, the brain — the thing that holds every memory, every conversation, every plan we’ve made — often goes unprotected on the very commute we take every single morning.

Why?

The shift to cargo bike logistics is great, but it requires a parallel shift in infrastructure.

When you replace a delivery van with a cargo bike, you are moving freight capacity from the road to the bike lane. If you don't expand the bike lane to handle it, you're just creating a bottleneck.

The future of safety is design — not decoration.
We created the N1neo to prove that protection can be sleek, elegant, and human.
Its timeless form conceals patented technology that redefines impact absorption.
Semi-soft couture, sculpted for purpose — making the helmet an intelligent desire.
