For the people coming by boat to claim asylum. Apart from very few exceptions the only way to claim asylum in the UK is to be in the country already. See the problem?

Reform and Restore have made it a left/right issue. They just say, 'no, deport the lot'. Practically, this just isn't possible so we need to find other solutions. And saying 'stick them next to your house' isn't one I'm afraid.
Also, there are currently no legal routes to apply for asylum.

So you don't have an answer then. Typical.

You didn't answer my questions.

So where the hell do we put these people? Can't use hotels, the right-wing knobheads don't like it. Can't use old military bases, the right-wing knobheads don't like it.
I wonder what % of Piddington voted Leave - the cause of small boats in the first place.

And we've proved time and time again that that just does not happen. Every single time, the regulator gets too cosy with the industry it's supposed to be regulating and we all get shafted.

Every pair should come with a little flag on a stick attached bearing the word "Nonce".

Yet the price we pay is based on the price of gas. When are we rioting?

And with a top speed of 124 mph, that's a hell of a lot of kinetic energy. With a tax formula that includes length and width, they could be factored so cars like this would pay a lot more tax than a small one.

It's now a Labour scandal too. They promised a public inquiry during the election - another thing not followed through.

My then girlfriend's Mum really adopted a retired sniffer dog. I used to smoke the odd bit of weed back then and for years she couldn't understand why he seemed to take to me much more than anyone else from first meeting.

Now you've said this, maybe it was all the murders after all...

I thought the UK used to have sensible tax laws for cars til the Tories got rid. I've think a formula based on height, width, weight and emissions should be used then it could be tweaked depending on what we want to see on the roads.

Still plenty of those morons about unfortunately. We have quite a few Refuk Ltd councillors dotted about the county now.

Surely they'll struggle to concentrate long enough to read a Substack piece?

And it's still a private company majority owned by Faridge. Once he's had enough, he'll take all that and sod off with it.

Steve Bell drew the best cartoons of him I thinl. Always looking half-crazed and kissing up to the US.
May 27, 2026 at 6:28 AM
Same reason as over on the other place, everybody seems to be steaming into the Greens for having an antisemitism problem while completely ignoring the "party" of actual antisemitism - Refuk Ltd. The UK has gone mad (or maybe it's me!)

Pretty sure he said in an interview, it wasn't to actually enlarge breasts it was to make women believe they were larger to make themselves feel better about themselves. Maybe I imagined that because I can't find it now.

Sounds like we need a tax on AI then.

I'll swap an 'eating washing detergent for a laugh' with an 'Andrew Tate says fancying girls is gay'.

Just makes me think of Terry Pratchett; which is always a good thing.

It's worse than that

Flat earthers will have to - they claim that there's no such thing as Space.
