Maybe there’s polling showing this does better than blaming Biden? Or a “finish the job” type message? Or to try to localize the election?

Trying to commie-scare the voters while memetically repeating the pain points they’re angry about just doesn’t seem smart to me. But I’ve never run a national midterms campaign.

The purpose of a wealth tax is to prevent a de facto monarchy. It doesn’t have to fix the budget problem. It just has to neuter dynasties.

Seems likely a lot of money has already been put in jeopardy whether anyone realizes it or not. Every retirement account, for example.
