Shipped a blog calendar in AskAiRank, beta for now. Instead of listing every article by hand, it pulls your last three months of blog posts and scores them, so it is clear which ones AI actually picks up.

This week I turned a single AskAiRank post about ChatGPT SEO into a proper pillar page with five linked articles around it, instead of one post sitting alone. Apparently that cluster structure is what actually gets picked up in AI answers, not the lone post.

Most AskAiRank signups go quiet by day fourteen. I was assuming people just did not need the product, but it looks more like they never really got started. Changing how we introduce new users to the core features. Small shift, but it feels like the right place to focus.

Small feature I shipped today for AskAiRank: the blog calendar now pulls real Search Console clicks and impressions straight into the admin view, no more guessing from a spreadsheet. Doesn't sound like much, but now I actually know which posts deserve more of my time.

Found that Linguin's sign-in screen could hang forever if the network stalled at exactly the wrong moment. Added a hard timeout this week so the UI always recovers instead of freezing on someone. Small fix, but the kind that quietly costs trust if left too long.

AskAiRank just passed 30 signed-up accounts, tracking 26 brands and 214 prompts combined. Still small, but weekly signups have grown every single week for the last month. First time this has felt like more than a side project to me.

Looked at 30 days of AI citations AskAiRank tracks: Reddit shows up in roughly 55% of them, and all of those come from Perplexity specifically, none from OpenAI, Gemini, or Claude. Ranking well in Google is clearly not the whole game anymore.

Churn and pricing are the two things we check most often. Small changes in either can shift everything pretty fast.

Dropped the AskAiRank blog from daily to three posts a week. Posting every day was not moving a single keyword ranking, it was just filling a calendar. Going slower and being more deliberate about topics is working better so far.
