Professor Modo Peridium is the main antagonist of Blast Numbat. He is a mad scientist who holds a grudge against humanity and attempts to take over the world by creating an army of hyper-intelligent animal soldiers. However, one of the said animal soldiers, Blast Numbat, turned out to be a failed specimen and has been putting a stop to Peridium's plans. Aokek Aokan is a mask spirit, Nakoa Kekoa's twin brother and the overarching antagonist of Blast Numbat.

Sprocket is a tibetan terrier dog and Blast Numbat's pet. He helps Blast get through snowy environments, though he also offers assistance. Odin is Hazel Numbat's pet cat. Odin serves as Hazel's mount, much like how Blast rides Sprocket. Fake Blast is a doppelganger of Blast Numbat and is a recurring character of Blast Numbat. Fake Hazel is a character from Blast Numbat. As her name suggests, she is a doppelganger of Hazel Numbat.

Blast Numbat himself! The main protagonist of the series with his name. Blast is an anthropomorphic numbat who seeks out to save the world from the evil forces of Professor Modo Peridium. Blast is often accompanied by a spirit mask and father-figure named Nakoa Kekoa, and as well as accompanied by his younger sister, Hazel Numbat and his girlfriend Sana Numbat. Blast Numbat's younger sister, Hazel Numbat. Hazel is one of the main protagonists of Blast Numbat. She is highly intelligent and tech-savvy, helping out with her brother out armed with her laptop and technological know-how. Just like her brother, she was also captured and mutated by Professor Modo Peridium and Professor Xinon Vigor. Nakoa Kekoa is a witch doctor spirit living inside a brown and mint mask who guides Blast, Hazel, Sana, and their friends as they defeat Professor Modo Peridium. Sana Numbat is one of the main protagonists of Blast Numbat. She is a feminine anthropomorphic Numbat who serves as Blast's girlfriend, once being the damsel-in-distress held captive by Professor Modo Peridium.
