nick looked at him, then the hand held out, before folding up the paper and tucking it into his pocket. a clear " no ". he needed it as proof for the job done.

whoever paid you can't have those details. "
at least, not until it all got moved again. rude took the one held out, but also gestured for the second one.

he didn't heard, but it was way easier to read his lips now. he gave a scoff. as if he'd tell this guy who paid him. was he stupid? as for why he killed them — nick fished out something from one of the guys. then something else again from

well ... that was definitely not the answer he expected. almost felt bad. almost. if it wasn't for the guy's bad attitude.
" asked who paid you? " he said, a bit slower, a little louder but not enough to carry further than just the two of them. " or why you killed these people? "

cupping his ear, nodding his head as if to ask him AGAIN to repeat himself.

nick paused before giving a large, shit eating grin. softly clapping as if to clear be like " wow, well done! you guessed it! " he knew it was him being an ass. but at least he didn't have to explain himself now. so he gestures again with a sigh.

⌵
" you deaf or something? "
he clearly meant it more as an insult. he figured this guy was ignoring him on purpose and now acting smug about it. not wanting to give answers so he was playing dumb.

as if to ask him to speak up or repeat even though he was right there. any other person would have very clearly heard him.

he looked up. he saw they guy was speaking to him. dammit how annoying. he asked something? thugs or sh...shera? what the hell was that? nick scoffed, cupping his one ear as he tilted his head to the guy.

thugs or shinra. "
all this eas assumptions though. for all rude knew, this could just be some psycho that went on a random rampage.

he caught part of what she said. glancing up as he pocketed some funds from the dead. clearly asking something, but for the life of him...he couldn't quite figure out the exact question. ge gave a few blinks, like trying to process what she asked somehow.
ran to the handle of her own weapon as a reflex, but she doesn't unsheathe it; she's just studying him for now. The man clearly 𝘥𝘪𝘥 murder someone, though. That's a good enough reason to keep her guard up.

whay did he say? leave the equipment? suits him just fine. he didn't need or want anything these guys had on them. but with someone just looming around, it was a bit of a pain. he would leave a wallet untouched for the trouble maybe.
⌵
⌵
this guy hasn't said anything at all yet. it did give him time to look over the aftermath. brutal. far more than one person alone should be able to do. he wasn't SOLDIER, that's for sure.

the hell was with this guy? he wore a suit like he was on his way to a business meeting. not to deal with gang activities. though, with a careful look he definitely carried himself as a killer. what a damn joke. nick seemed to almost ignore him.

has a hunt out for these people before hand.
