so this is an add for the Philippines market - the woman in it is a Kpop star starting a concert tour (a Star) standing in a lit Star spotlight holding her All-Stars. Which might be a 'hmmm wtf but okaaaayyy???' except it was on their international sites & this girl has an international following.

that makes way more sense than a young woman Kpop star launching her tour in her fav shoes (yes that's what it's supposed to be)

20 something's wearing this on a fun Friday night? That fabric/color/length doesn't say 'fashion' it's hospital gown or kkk robe. 3)how did this go through countless mockups, teams/client meetings/photo shoot without 'Yikes,No!!'? Is Converse trying to win over the tradwife/confirmation crowd?

the podcaster mentions theoretically this is a woman supposedly getting ready for a night out taking her Converse. ??? He's not buying that either but 1) I never got 'woman in dress' I got 'person in white robe'. 2) if this is a 'night out' wtf's up with the shin length white 'dress'?

I was watching an explanation video of why this is so f'd up(not by converse), at first I didn't see the hood but I did see the white 'robe' holding the shoes youtu.be/rQx0884QrjE?... the more I looked at the Hood appeared (even before the podcaster did an overlay).

I still mask up at indoor public spaces, my 'normal' cough sounds like my chest is going to rip open & my lungs will fly out. If I ever get one of those 'looks' I'll cough and casually walk by. Interesting how quickly those smirks turn to 'yikes thank goodness she's covering that up!"

people in Asian countries have been wearing masks for decades - it helps counter pollution, allergies, and all the other 'normal' colds, flu & 'bugs'. Covid sucks but so does the flu. Great to have a mask in thrift&used book stores that are often musty.

I thought Diane Feinstein did a lot of good but she shouldn't have been pressured (whether by others or herself) to keep working after such a serious medical issue.

Setting aside Mitch is Terrible. Any human his age/condition should be relaxing w family&friends for as long as he has left. But we all may be discounting how dead-set this man is on retooling the USA; maybe he signed a 'use me like a marionette/I'm cool with necromancy: Get that vote!" directive
