Every time I see someone say "the media isn't covering X"

I say to myself "yes, because we've collectively trained it not to"

I think it's fair to say that of the speculated May-July release window, the #Switch2 won't be releasing before this date.

After edging us for way to long, we get a tease.

It was amazing watching the internet lose it's shit in the lead up to this over one person leaking the date, and the general inability to parse time zones.

feedback from a beta reader:

at its best, your text is similar to [Pratchett's] in tone and feel - conveying a serious story in a lighthearted, fun and erudite way. So I can see real potential here - you've got a complex story with interesting and well defined characters, and a compelling 'voice'.

So I've been working hard over the break, turning the first third of my original campaign into an ebook novel.

Currently circulating it to a few friends for proofing/reactions etc, but this is a draft cover I put together.

Return to the story that started it all! This LitRPG chapter revisits the first campaign. Laila de Vaillant uncovers a hidden chamber tied to her late husband’s secrets—an obsidian mirror and a missing signet ring. Intrigue, betrayal, and arcane twists await.

Here’s a quick comparison between the US and Australia:

In Australia, reverse lookup for a phone number is free and instant.

In the US, I tried several services, but they were bloated, slow, and required me to register just to see the results.

One of the design goals for Invictus is to eliminate as many "hard nos" as possible and avoid mechanical traps within the game. Players should feel empowered to make choices without fear of falling into frustrating dead ends caused by the rules themselves.
