The wealthiest save a much larger percentage of their income than do the middle class or poor. It’s common sense; if you make only enough to get by, you spend everything you earn to get by. If those items have tariffs, it is indeed a regressive tax. To say otherwise is disingenuous at best.

Particularly frustrating considering he recently said he was staying and then changes his mind at the last minute. Other people made their decision based on his commitment.
