i had probably the worst 10 day stretch of my life starting with layoffs into mandatory overtime and no ability to take a day off while i had The Disease and i was really worried because i wasn't getting better but it's ok because we finally got fabio gay moments and the next day i turned around 👍

everything being said i do have to give nintendo of america credit for papering over a lot of stuff that is just straight up offensive and bad in the original japanese script. never study another language or else you find out the only black character in this game was originally named doodoo

i beat 3 houses which is to say i beat the claude route which is just reheated leftovers of the route you're actually supposed to play first. let's never make a game about anything ever again ❤️

it's crazy how much of claude's route is entirely dependent on him somehow being white passing. which tbf is also surprising to him. but his closest allies are just constantly saying shit like "all almyrans are savage brutes and we must never trust them. isn't that right claude"
playing 3 houses for some god awful reason and i have to hand it to the fine folks at koei tecmo for this one: never before have i stopped played a game for the night and then started crying because the ambient npc chatter is like 500 lines of generic soldiers going on racist rants unprompted

im at the last chapter of the game and my professor level has been maxed since before the timeskip and the activity economy is beyond fucked. padding out 5 minute long story battles with up to ***12*** dogshit side missions or up to ***40*** cutscenes of byleth eating dinner. what the fuck
separate to the racism. the monastery stuff really contributes nothing and the teacher lesson stuff also contributes nothing. literally the only strategy i needed was grinding out heavy armor because i needed ferdinand von aegir to join my house and say things like "i am ferdinand von aegir"
