I’m at the anger stage of grief. Look at that perfect face & tell me how this is fair, to be eating & not to have her to share my food. To sit outside & not watch her roam the yard. To not be able to snuggle her or give goodnight or morning kisses. Fuck this life. There’s nothing good left.

My dog died today. I am so heartbroken. She was my right hand girl. My co-dependent furry daughter. 🩷 My reason for waking up in the morning. 17.5 y.o. She got me through deaths, illness, empty nest syndrome and lymphoma last year. She was my best friend. Please tell me she’s still around me.

I feel the most anonymous here but I wanted to share that my sweet 17.5 year old dog Mylee isn’t doing well. She has kidney disease and is losing weight. She’s eating but is weak. She has been with me through so many health challenges, including lymphoma last year. 1/2
