I remember a time when Commerical radio stations played Dubstep and drum and bass. 3 of the biggest examples for me that I always heard are Turn It Around by Sub Focus and Kele, Tidal Waves by Sub Focus and Promises by Nero. Wish more did that these days. Good times. More metal too please

I've heard people say that Knife Party's Lost Souls EP feels soulless. That kinda the point imo. I feel like it's a critique on how soulless a lot of the EDM scene has become over the years. Boring house music, reparative Dubstep, overly synth trance & empty sounding songs. It's all reparative.

Writing lyrics for the EP and Album I'm conceptualizing has shown me just how difficult being creative really is. I'm having a blast writing these, but the fear of these never coming to fruition is so real cause I have no idea how to make music whatsoever. These songs may just remain words on a page

Without any shade of irony or humour here, some of the best electronica music Ive heard comes from Japanese Beatboxer So-So. He makes all his music by beatboxing and then does a full production to make his mouth sounds pop even more than they already do. The noises this man makes is insane.

If you want a song that will take you on a journey through sounds and feels. I can not recommend Innerbloom by Rufus Du Sol highly enough. It's 9.38 of sonic beauty and brilliance all wrapped up in an electro sound that just hits just right. Every drop adds another layer to the song. Perfect song.
