I’m just so used to seeing the cosmic Marvel stuff never lasting or getting cut short. It feels really hard to get invested in so much of it, even when it’s interesting.

I’m actually sad that Imperial was such a bomb because it also featured the return of the Inhumans doing weird political/royal plots.
The event was just such a nothing burger when it had a lot of interesting stuff going for it overall.

He’s currently in space after escaping prison, reviving his bird-wife with the last resurrection egg of Krakoa, and saving his daughter from public execution. The follow-up with him, Lilandra, and Xandra trying to reclaim the throne was cancelled after the Imperial crossover building to it failed.

Most people aren’t playing with the full extent of the rules now. Trying to explain stuff like layers and how paying costs work within the rules can be pretty counterintuitive.
