I'm a brand strategist who helps nonprofits look and sound as good as the work they do. I bring 20 years of big-agency thinking to mission-driven organizations.
1/ AI tools for nonprofits: adoption just passed 90%. Real fundraising impact reported by 7%. That gap isn't about the tools.

It's about teams reaching for AI before deciding what it's actually for.

Before this was a job, it was 3 years in the Peace Corps learning that the story an organization tells about itself and the story the community tells about it are rarely the same. 20 years later it's still the first thing I check with a new client. Which version are you building your brand around?

A mission statement describes what you do. A stance describes what you will not compromise on to do it. Every piece of content you put out, a post, a grant report, a gala remark, is downstream of that second thing.

Brand consistency is a weekend project with a style guide. Behavior consistency across every touchpoint is the work nobody schedules.

Nobody trusts a nonprofit because its Instagram captions match its annual report. Trust gets decided by how fast someone calls you back.

Nonprofit Brand Trust Isn't Built by Staying "On Message" - Michael Ward
Nonprofit brand trust isn't built by staying on message. It's built in unscripted moments: response times, rejection letters, staff talk off camera.

Donor trust rarely breaks all at once. It chips away in small moments. A site visit that doesn't match the brochure. A staff member who can't say the mission the way the website says it, not because they don't care, but because nobody ever asked them what they'd say.
