We are hearing reports that key to the gate at Nenagh train station was lost this morning and commuters to Limerick were stuck in the car park unable to get on the train.

Another great day today, with 67 people - 32 from Roscrea and 35 from Nenagh - joining the annual community train trip to Limerick on Ice. That's 100+ people over the 2 days including Cloughjordan group yesterday. Thanks to @irishrail.bsky.social for putting on a larger train both ways today!

Great day out by train today - 8 adults, 23 teenagers and 3 children traveled by train together to Limerick on Ice for our annual community rail outing. Thanks to @irishrail.bsky.social for putting on a larger train for the return journey. Another group travels tomorrow from Nenagh and Roscrea.

Very frustrating for people in Roscrea, Cloughjordan, Nenagh, Birdhill, Castleconnel to get this from @irishrail.bsky.social. We don't get more services for St Patrick's festivities in Limerick, we get fewer. We get no services at all on Sunday, Monday morning or afternoon on bank holiday weekends.

Our train line service is cancelled tomorrow morning with no bus replacement. "Monday 6th January Limerick to Ballybrophy (via Nenagh) services will not operate on Monday morning, and bus transfers will not operate due to road conditions." www.irishrail.ie/en-ie/news/w...

Annual community rail outings coming up... a group from Nenagh tomorrow Thurs 2nd Jan, and from Cloughjordan on Fri 3rd Jan! A large group from the community will travel to Limerick by train together, go ice skating and travel back by train. Great celebration of rail travel and community!
