Blaming people for their oppression leaves oppressed people more likely to believe they're *not* oppressed, because *if* they were oppressed, that means they're doing something wrong, or they're weak, or whatever.

The issue is that in real life, when you get drenched it doesn't do much to your skin the second you leave the water. Water evaporates quickly.

The biggest sign is your hair and the fabric you're wearing. Hence why swimsuits are so excellent, they don't react the same way as regular fabric :D

This is the kind of thing that makes me appreciate a subscription model

Forgot to mention Merv's Palette has a color picker too. I don't *think* that's a thing you can recreate for free...

Once in a blue moon you get it as a free reward of some kind. But...I don't even want to use it knowing the dyes will disappear in a few days...

I'm very grateful for what we have now and obviously I still enjoy all these games enough to pay a sub or suffer through the paywalls...

omg i've been playing black desert for the first time and this happens to everybody the second it rains or you go ankle deep into a body of water. there is also a "shine" slider in the character customizer, so you can choose to have it on all the time too

Obviously there's the issue of ESO and BDO being F2P and therefore riddled with microtransactions, with veteran gamers hitting up against all kinds of walls and issues...

But that kind of goes without saying. In FF14 there are plenty of endgame walls, too, but at least they're included with the sub
